As the holiday season sparkles to life, we’re filled with gratitude for everyone who joined us at this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting celebration in our vibrant community. The evening overflowed with joyful performances, holiday spirit, and the warmth of togetherness, creating unforgettable memories for families, students, and friends.
Our talented students and dedicated faculty showcased what makes DEA Music, Art, and Academic Education so special — a unique blend of creativity, teamwork, and passion for learning. A highlight of the evening was our DEA Choir’s breathtaking performance, filling the plaza with harmonious holiday music that captivated hearts and set the perfect tone for the season. From our youngest music performers to our experienced music faculty, everyone united to light up the stage before the Christmas tree illuminated the plaza, marking the start of the holiday festivities.
A heartfelt shout-out to Magi Kapllani, our music school director, whose inspiring vision and leadership brought this holiday event to life. We’re also deeply grateful to our dedicated teachers, Julia Freitor, Noa Miranda, Ania Kapllani, Even Harden, Philip Garcia, Victor Vega, Mauro Corona, Elis Lloshi who poured their hearts into preparing students for performances, resonating with holiday cheer and artistic excellence.
The excitement doesn’t stop here! Our performing arts students are gearing up for thrilling appearances at Radio City Music Hall alongside the iconic Rockettes, as well as our highly anticipated holiday concerts that promise to spread seasonal joy with this year’s special event -choir performing with live Richmond County Orchestra.
On the academic front, our students are excelling as they prepare for standardized tests, academic competitions, and chess tournaments, proving that creativity and intellectual curiosity thrive hand-in-hand at DEA studios.
